FAQs
Registration
First, you register your expression of interest. Find a local organisation or group who you can attend the Convergence with and apply via our IPYC–2025 website page. We’ll then be in touch with further information about the event and how to book your spot.
Registration of interest puts you on our database for future correspondence, you will be in the first round of tickets, and you get access to further support including, our list of regional champions and support letters to help with fundraising.
Yes, you need to be part of a group to be able to register for the event. Each group may register for up to 10 participants and must have a delegated supervisor. This supervisor will act as the primary contact and organiser for your group, supervise you during the event and travel to and from the event with the group. If you don’t have a group you might like to consider forming a group within your local community or contact us.
A group is a non-government organisation, community project/initiative or collective. Each group may register for up to 10 participants and must have a delegated supervisor who can act as the primary contact, group organiser and supervisor – before the event, during the event and after the event.
A group leader must be approved by the non-government organisation, community project/initiative or collective they will be representing. The group leader may register for up to 10 participants and must act as the primary contact, group organiser and supervisor of all participants within the group for the duration of the event, including the travel to and from their city of departure. The group leader is responsible for the health, safety and discipline of the group – before, during and after the event.
Some of the sessions will be recorded. We are currently working on how to best offer the content.
Once we receive your expression of interest, we will add you to our event database and send you further information with a link to book your tickets and secure your place. We’ll then be in regular contact to provide you updates and program information right up to the event.
